My best holidays

Hello everybody!!
Today we must choose between two topics, our best holidays or our best concert. I haven't gone to many concerts, so I will talk about my favorite vacation!

My mom and I had been saving money all 2015 to complete a big dream: to travel to Easter Island!! We went in February of 2016. The year before, a friend of mine went there and he told me amazing stories about what he did and what he saw on the island. I admit, I felt a bit jealous about all his experience. So I decided to complete the dream I had had since I was a little girl.

The money I saved working during the first semester was spent paying the airplane tickets. Therefore, I worked at the same time we had the finals at University, until the week before the beginning of our trip. It was a BIG effort, nevertheless, it was completely rewarded (:

We stayed in a campsite for 10 days. That was enough time for enjoying the beautiful beaches, hiking extinct volcanoes, eating delicious seafood, visiting the museum, going on bike anywhere, renting a jeep and many other activities.

There is an anecdote about the jeep. I had recently received my driving license, but my mom did not allow me to drive a car on my own, till that moment. My first time driving alone was in Easter Island with a rented jeep! The problem was I didn't know how to park... You can imagine what happened ): hahahah!

This photo was taken in the front of the island's west coast. Diving was another of my dreams that became true on Easter Island!
